Tsoi Huen Wong is a UK-based performer, working across contemporary dance, physical theatre and devised performance. Trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, she has since performed in ensemble-based, interdisciplinary, young people, site-specific and immersive outdoor work.
Her creative journey began with training at Tang Shu-wing Theatre Studio’s Physical Theatre Institute in 2020/21. During that time, she performed with several Hong Kong-based physical/devised theatre companies, including Alice Theatre Laboratory, iStage, Riceballershk and Thoughtful Theatre.
She later relocated to Scotland, and pursued a BA in Contemporary Performance Practice at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where she had the opportunity to undertake a placement with Curious Seed. She then transitioned into contemporary dance, deepening her practice further through Dance Base’s Dancers Emerging Bursary Scheme (DEBS) in 2024/25.
Since then, she has performed for companies, festivals and independent artists, including ThickSkin, Hidden Door, The Mango Ensemble, Frantic Assembly, among others.
Alongside performing, she is also a facilitator, a maker, as well as a movement director who recently worked with Mythography’s newest show Antigone at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
